This Universe and this ency wency planet in this tiny corner of a ordinary galaxy. Does not even know you are here. The fact that I and you and every other thing your sensory perception has encountered or you have attained knowledge of are real. There is a reason for everything and it might be that you are nothing more than a mistake. The time line of this life form is such that any one of billions of events locked in the past could have happened differently., and if such we, you, and I would never have the chance to write this dribble... Mark in a warm dry Wanganui.

What if this universe is like the internet, incomprehensibly huge and complex. That no matter how long we search it asking questions and getting answers we will always find 50 questions to replace the one we just answered.

How would one join the Freemasons?

Well, I see creation sort of like one big house of mirrors reflecting the infinite potential of the initial singularity before the big bang. Not so much seeing my life as an illusion, but more as a fraction (fractal?) of all those reflections.

And as for awareness and consciousness, I have some thoughts to share on that too. It seems to me that everything in existence might be said to display some sense of 'awareness', even elementary particles. Maybe not so obviously from inanimate objects, but most certainly from living organisms. Consciousness however is a more defined or 'focused' subset of awareness which would seem to require at least the use of a brain.

I suppose all this is why my reality check keeps bouncing......Every day I awake to find we are not where we were only a moment ago. A whole new reality has / is passing thru at this moment and we don't even realize it.

Unlike a few of the more recent forums of which I've been a member, we'll do our best to adhere to real science, here, instead of merely what fits the government-sponsored politically-correct sort. I've a feeling admin/moderation here will be handled more along the lines of reality than what you may have experienced on other forums on which you and I have been associated.

Its been a while since I looked in on this forum and thanks to 'Mugs' for the reminder that I had already joined... So I will continue this line of thoughts...and share it with you's...
This idea of reality is as solid as a iron bar. Bang your head on a brick and the reality is some discomfort. Pain.
Neural pathways open and remind you that the brick was a bad idea... Your head hurts. Thats a reality.
On a cosmic level we see and observe many galaxies. They are all real. Just as the brick.
We are not living inside a quantum world were some greater power has 'created' a world of seemingly real things.
We are likened to a parasitic life form that has developed a self awareness...
We are on the surface of a planet that is extraordinarily rare but real. That it might well be the ONLY one like it is a reality we do not like, but must face as a reality... This is THE reality I live in.. whats your like ?

I concur with most of what your proposing as part of my general thoughts with the addendum that while we experience an outside the body reality as in sight, sounds, feel, hot, cold, planets, stars,up, down,etc,etc. there is also things going on on the inside as in heart beating, hair growing. cells dying, new cells replacing old,heart burn, stomach ache, getting older, your eyes turning light into something your brain can understand and sound,smell and taste doing the same thing only different etc, etc. All while we sit here typing and our brains are racing with multitudes of possible whatever's. Not to mention the fact that we're spinning thru space, or then again are we ?? I can see reality as a multidimensional. Reality is linked to time and space like Ozzie and Harriet. We move thru our reality like water to a river. With multidimensional pathways to experience multidimensional lives. That is what helps make us who we are.
Sorry, but I'm not feeling like a parasite just yet. but if you feel your need to give such a negative sounding attitude to your self awareness..oh well. I got a lot of good things going on in my self awareness reality to deal with.

At the end of this life 'my' soul is outside of spacetime and reincarnates as . . . my father
At the end of this life 'my' soul is outside of spacetime and reincarnates as . . . my cat
At the end of this life 'my' soul is outside of spacetime and reincarnates as . . . that plant in the front garden
And so on and on, as it has been and forever will be - I am you and you are me and he is she and we are all together.
