Forum improvements

I've posted a number of suggestions for improving this forum. When I was a regular poster for 8 years on the old badastronomy forum. My threads were by far the most read threads there untill the mods came and banned me within the first year of them taking over. I have a lot of ideas for threads and improvements.

But I need to see this forum's admins responding more rapidly and thoughtfully than they have before I put in as much effort as I did at badastronomy to make this an interesting forum.

I'm not going to make the effort to build here on weak foundations.

Hey, astrotech, fire away. We ARE listening. This forum was Tom's idea, and most of the design elements are his. I reworked some of the structure. Both of us have either been an admin or mod for many years, so fire away.

If your idea is merely another way of doing things, perhaps we'll toss a coin. But if your idea(s) hold merit, of course we'll implement them. I recall your days at BA then BAUT well, so I trust you'll have some good ideas. Just keep in mind that when it comes to message forums, I've been around the block for a couple of decades, so don't take it personally if I respond with a "that sounds nice on paper..."

Don't let that stop you. I may be an old dog, but I'm always learning new tricks. Fire away!
