    Default Website and Self-sabotage?

I can't seem to find it now, but when I was looking into the reasons for this sites' recent problems, I recall reading something about this websites owner had possibly self-sabotaged it. Did anyone else read the same, and why would this be?

Did you read it when the website was down? I don't see how you could've read it, before it went down. And there's only been a few posts here, since it went back up.

So, you read it somewhere else? Any idea?

For a couple months either the website or my browser would not let me go to it. So I finally decided to "google it", From a "Bing homepage" so I think it was from a Microsoft search engine, that has a blue search tab. At any rate, I definitely was presented information saying something about -self sabatauge by owner of website. So I scratched my head and backed away for a couple of weeks. When I tried again, I got a huge red and white screen warning me that this is a possible malicious site and recommended I not go to it. But I concluded that I have pretty good protection and went anyway. Now It seems I'm one of the few to come back. What gives?

That makes sense. Maybe the owner was addressing some virus attack and took down the website. I dunno. It was foen for a long time, others probably figure it was gone for good.

So now you need to go on the offensive, for the future of this website. There must be a way to restore it' s standing with the major search engines. Searching for it still states that the website is hazardous for giving malware and viruses. Which I have found not to be true, so far as I know, (since I've been back). There may be some heated debates and highly opinionated characters, there may be some overly ambitious statements and some fictitious reaches, but there is a reason there has been as many visits to this site as there has been. There has been considerable knowledge provided to the scientific community I'm sure. Some controversial(for now), and some cutting edge. Some inspirational, some not so much. At least here you are not penalized for taking a stab at the mysteries that plague cosmology and the standard model. There is a website, that I will not name, that will not allow you to even ask a question, because if you do, and they come back at you with all kinds of equations and symbols that you might not understand, if you don't respond immediately, you are given a citation. After deciphering their question- you try and respond, to which they ask another question - followed by another citation while you were pondering your response. Now you are banned for a month- and the next one you are banned for life. Now I rarely visit, and when I do, I won't dare say a thing. Their loss. The material I read is both dull and boring and there is not an original thought to be found. Out of the mouth of babes the answers may come- to those that are willing to hear. Everything they have learned, presumably, whether taught, lectured, researched, and so forth, has been handed down from our forefathers who were the original thinkers, some of which was wrong , and yet there are some that feel that they at least, have a superior knowledge of such things. Well their knowledge is incomplete, and may in fact be downright wrong. The science books are constantly being rewritten because of original thinkers, experiments and observations. This website has a good thing going, that is not to be taken lightly. Let's hope it can rebound from this- for the greater good of science.

I guess so, though this is what is appealing about Cosmoquest. This site offered what Cosmo doesn't, but also vice versa.
