By Einsteins, I'm assuming you mean these few in general?
I think you need to clarify what you mean by "Negative Energy." There's a bit more to that than just trans-versing plus or minus signs.
Negative mass is precluded by the Equivalence Principle. As a source of gravitational field, negative mass would generate an outward field and spacetime curvature that is continuous from infinity to the location of the body. An interesting thing about negative mass is that it appears to compress spacetime. Objects with negative mass would demonstrate some of the characteristics that we used to believe tachyons possess. Those ideas were abandoned because such characteristics violate causality.
