    Default Intro

Hi. Glad I found this forum! I hope to have discussions about latest development in cosmology and physics, specifically the recent launch of the Herschel and Planck space telescopes and the upcoming James Webb Space Telescope and what kind of results astronomers are looking for from them. Also interesting is the next-generation ground based telescopes such as the Thirty Meter Telescope, the Giant Magellan Telescope, and the European Extremely Large Telescope. The adaptive optics technology used will enable them to exceed the performance of space-based telescopes. On the physics side, the Large Hadron Collider will tell us the properties of the Higgs boson and perhaps what dark matter and dark energy is. I am not a working physicist but I do have a master's degree in the the subject. My sources of information are mainly from Scientifc American magazine and Science Daily website. Hope to get to know you all.

I have created a new thread under Space and Physics Forums - Suggest Reading - called "Astonomical Telescopes - Latest Discoveries, Technologies and Developments." Please feel free to comment or add new information there. Thank you.

    Hi Warren,

You don't have to wait to know what dark matter and dark energy are. Just read through my papers on Quantum-Geometry Dynamics which you can download here in PDF format.

As for the Higgs boson, it does not exist. The LHC will not find it. See my paper titled The Brick and the Hammer on the future of particle colliders.

Daniel L. Burnstein: The reason you quote David Hilbert saying "Physics is too hard for physicists" is because not one physicist believes your cockamamie theory. David Hilbert provided the mathematical foundation to the theories worked out by the physicists; he was not dismissing those theories.
