My kinda people. My twist is that sure l love looking into outer space but l feel that the whole"mission" is incomplete without an eye to inner space as well. Since we can't come up with universally agreed on answers such as "the beginning of time", and "the ends of space", perhaps theres a place where it all comes full circle. l will be so bold as to state that inner space is equally infinite as outer space...no? l believe this is why we have so many gaps in our knowledge. The scientists inner journey ends somewhere near the atom, but l believe the atom is only the beginning of inner space.
l'm particularly fascinated with Jupiter and our Sun. With Jupiter there is an amazing dynamic going on with the changing states of hydrogen {predominantly}, and core temperatures hotter than the sun and outer atmosphereic temperatures around -300degF. The bands are caused by by hydrogen's transforming from gas-liquid-metallic hydrogen and the main cause of Jupiter's turbulant "weather" patterns. Jupiter's outer atmosphere is so cold that the "gases" must exist in a liquid and metallic state.
The Sun is in a state of balance between the two fundamental universal forces of inner gravity and external nuclear propulsion. There is so much going on on the sun that matter has been stripped down to a state of hyper plasma. There is so much that we don't know that l wouldn't discount the possibility that the sun is actually a "living being?". Wouldn't that bring us full circle and back to the pagans knowing more with less knowledge...{the Sun god?}...Food for thought...
