Hello Folks

By way of my intro, I have been a practicing scientist for over 50 years. My earliest interests included astronomy and microscopy... hence my dual viewpoints. I've been a practicing biochemist, molecular geneticist, cell biologist, analytical chemist, biophysicist, physical chemist, and now astrophysicist/cosmologist. I've worked in research laboratories from the Pacific to the Atlantic and taught chemical sciences in a university. But my real long term passion is using the scientific method to really find what the ultimate nature of physical reality is actually all about. I've been down many tortuous paths and theories and found most to be incomplete, inconsistent, under-tested or just plain wrong and have embarked upon the final stage of my professional research interests... the re-examination of all fields to try and cull the gemstones from the gravel. Many theories today are simply houses of cards. They rest on very little direct experimental test results and are mostly highly theoretical and untestable opinions. Perhaps some have been adopted because of their "esthetic" values while others because of some flashy mathematical derivations. But without direct tests and proofs conducted with rigor, they are still more imagination than truth.

My current efforts for the last 24 years have been to re-examine structure and dynamics from subatomic scales to super-galactic cluster scales within a new paradigm. That is that the main repeating pattern of the universe that is seen and can be measured follows all of the defining tenets of chaos theory. I have a lot of material and some web pages I've set up to address these re-interpretations of some founding principles of Big Bang cosmology that embraces the current most popular world view. Perhaps we can open some discussions on those ideas to anyone having an open mind and an interest in these subjects. I welcome your input.
