I am a nearly 65 year old man with all the biographical information anyone could want on my facebook page. Although I had a technical university education, it wasn't near enough. I am disabled and have not been able to work for 15 years. About 3 years ago, I decided that I could learn the math necessary to be the astrophysicist I always wanted to be. Since then I have begun serious studies in math, astrophysicis, quantum mechanics, particle physics, relativity, and as much related information as I could garner. Every since college, I have read all the general audience stuff on physics and cosmology that I could find, but this time I said no to those and have tried textbooks on these subjects. I have a LONG way to go to achieve my goal and I am looking forward to discussions on this group.
