According to Lorenz transformation time is independent from a position and of a common motion of system co-ordinate
t' = t(v/c^2)x/square root 1-(v^2/c^2)

I think you're missing a minus sign in there.
How's this?
Also, I would point out that it is not quite position independent; the t' coordinates depend on both x and t.
Proud advocate of the ATM idea that 0.999... is equal to one.
Do you understad general theory of relativity because lorentz transformation is right
I else point out that the equation say so
Hi All,
Stepping in here. I think I will leave this group soon as I think I won't fit in. I am a PhD astrophysicist. Just looking around to see what's going on. You will find I have strong, science guided opinions. I pride myself at not being closed to new ideas, but I am demanding in my need for reasons to believe this or that. This is also true of my own beliefs. Really, it make it hard to be accepting of most stuff. Is this a failing? Is this a disadvantage in life? Some tell me so, but I think not. Let's see what people have to say here. You will find me patient. I am willing to offer opinion and listen to that of others. Hello, everyone!

So let me jump in here. Special relativity is entirely independent of General Relativity. Even if General Relativity is wrong--and it might be--Special Relativity is quite secure. There is just too much evidence that this is right. Einstein got the Noble prize for the wrong thing. He never really believed in quantum mechanics, so getting the Noble prize for the photoelectric effect is really tragic. But for Special Relativity, that is another matter entirely. My, this is an all-pervasuive and essential part of modern physics. This is worth multiple prizes. Too bad hind sight is 20-20.

Yeah, -1 + 1 = 0. So?
