Your delusional denial set aside, I think we all know what happened there.

    Get out of my thread.

You are a pompous, ignorant, hypocritical, dishonest, intellectual wannabe with a bullshit blowhorn on my soapbox, because no one will listen on any of yours. You are a fool with pretentions to grandeur who represents my concepts out of context and misinterpreted as anyone who understand physics and mathematics will understand.

Your preconceptions are limited to minimal and outdated contexts if they are not altogether wrong, and the Tyson quote in your signature is a hypocritical joke.

Bare Mass I was using it in the context of an electron modeled as an elementary particle in a potential environment in a solid with respect to refraction, where the potential is the normalized surrounding virtual particles as a conceptual model for the inter-lattice potential between atoms.

I certainly wasn't using it in the QFT sense of particle collisions. I tried to make this clear by referring to Bloch functions, overlap integrals, and the Kronig-Penney models which you completely ignored as having no relevance to solid state physics. What an ass.

Says the man that tells everyone else to get out of his thread and stay silent when he presents misconceptions and gets called out for them.
As for the rest of your post, I have moved the side argument here:
Moved: Side discussion on the speed of Photons

Now get out of my thread altogether. Village Idiot. Asshole.
