Gilbert Strang is a lot of things, but mathematician isn't one of them. Chuckle.

How could you know any way... you can't even do the simplest algebra.

Easy to see whose camp you are in given that you disparage Mueckenheim who is a gentleman and a fine mathematician.

Linear algebra is way too difficult for you anyway. One page from his textbook is more of a contribution than anything you have scribbled down, trying to show Newton was really an idiot or whatever.

If mucus-heimer thinks your new calculus isn't cicrular reasoning, he's a crank, plain and simple. Fortunately, Germans have a long historical tradition for cranks.

Oh, it's all clear now. You're one of his unfortunate students. Poor thing.

No. Newton was not an idiot, but he was sorely mistaken. Take you moron, you still don't get the simplest of proofs.

The identity I gave is 100% true but you are too stupid to realise it.

Yes, indeed. Like Georg Cantor whom Mueckenheim has outed as a world-class moron.

Gilbert Strang is a total tosser and loser. Too bad you are his student.

It's either true or false and the fact that you say '100%' true indicates you are a charlatan.

I am not a student of Gilbert strang but I believe in reading books and learning as much math as possible. You haven't even read the standard books on analysis and here you are claiming that calculus needs to be rewritten.

What? When you write , that's not 100% true, but there is some sanity in it.

    You define CRANK for me.

is the definition of . Notice how such notions like derivative are clearly defined in standard calculus. Also notice how the number of variables on the left is the same as the right, after h goes to 0.

John Gabriel can't even define the slope of a straight line correctly.
See the first diagram in "John Gabriel's New Derivative" is toast"..
(Look for the correction in green)

    Then set m = 0 and take the limit of the ratio as n (i.e., "h") -> 0
    for functions not straight lines...

    (second diagram, ff..)

(Stay tuned for a similar analysis of John's perspective on the "Mean Value Theorem"

    Best Regards,

limits are not need to define the derivative. it seems that it is already too late for you to understand this.

and stop giving false account of what NC is. you are a mere liar now.

you have no idea of what a derivative is, so it is better that you shut up. you are making a fool of yourself.
concentrate instead of making change at McDonald's..... or maybe flamenco suits better than maths to you flamenco boy

    You only don't need limits if the function is a straight line y =f*(x)= Ax + b, f'(x) = A (a constant slope)
Read the Math is Fun article...

7777777 doesn't even know what a straight line is, much less a slope..
but hey, neither does John Gabriel..
