Default I suggest 2 member cage matches: 1) BuleriaChk vs Neverfly 2) Tom vs Neverfly

I suggest 2 member cage matches: 1) BuleriaChk vs Neverfly on topic of Light moving through glass. 2) Tom vs Neverfly on Copenhagen vs Many Worlds Interpretation

I think each person gives opening statement. Then 2 back and forths each. Then thread closed and board votes on winner.

I disagree. Those topics are being discussed in a civil manner in the threads... now if you believe the threads are Off Topic, then maybe you can split them.
I thought the idea of Cage Match is when the two posters are fighting eachother both uncivilly and also the person rather than the topic.

    OK ...

Although we are civil ... I think there is a general disagreement where neither of us are probably going to convince the other. I think at some point either we need to give up the back and forth ( for the sake of the thread ) OR debate the exact points and somehow declare a winner.

Right now, I think we are debating the definitions of the Copenhagen and Many Worlds interpretation ... I mean we can keep it up ... but not sure if it gets us anywhere.

Threads can debate for a long period of time... I'm not trying to be difficult but I think you're being a worry wart.

I think this is the best bet, a cage match should be kept for persons wishing to challenge, argue, or act uncivilly against each other on a more personal level. This would help alleviate disruption and the threads going off topic. Else the forum would end up one big cage match every time one disagrees with another.

I would welcome someone challenging my views or opinions if they remain topical to the thread and non offensive to my persons.

I think this type of debate can be healthy for the forum. Heck the discussions could become rather boring if we all just sat there agreeing with each other.
