Lol, Astromark! I'm middle-aged. I have yet to flip out and buy a red sports car, or a pistol, to re-establish my masculinity.
@ Mugaliens: My prior post was, at minimum, cynical, in an attempt at playing devil's advocate. I can't argue against the points you made.
I don't own a gun, I know a lot about them, as well intimate knowledge of explosives, and primitive weaponry. I fully support ownership by the people. However, I would recommend a full psychological evaluation of individuals before their purchase is approved. Of course, then I could go on a rant about how full of sh*t I think psychology is as a science. The point here is, you leave me very uncomfortable with your staunch declaration of *sanity*, sir.
Someone close to me in my family owns over 400 guns, and months of ammo for each of them. He is NOT sane, and would fight you for suggesting he isn't. Just sayin'.
I'm not afraid of saying I'm nuttier than a loon. Those who know me say I'm "eccentric". Aren't they sweet? Nonetheless...
Schizoid? Oh yes we are. We allowed it to go this far.
This bill flies in the face of a statement made by president Eisenhower, that allowing the U.S. military to grow more powerful than the people, will be the death of the country where it stands.
Oops, decades later, we never listened. Too late, now what?
Ten years from now when the feces hits the turbine, you'll find me covered in mud and branches with a blow gun, crossbow, and improvised explosives. Who's crazy? I'll declare it a mid-life crisis.
