So they were not obvious nut jobs and terrorists?

What's mugaliens' preprogramed right wing response going to be?

"can't paint the whole bunch just because a few of them are nut jobs and terrorists".

Two of the several hundred were indeed nut jobs. They weren't terrorists, however, as their actions do not come close to meeting the legal U.S. definition for terrorism.

Is anyone in your immediate or extended family a criminal? How about your neighborhood, city block, or graduating class in high school?

According to Science Daily, a Swedish study reveals that approximately 1% of the Swedish population is responsible for 63% of all violent crime. That percentage varies by country, but here in the U.S., various studies have shown that it's no more than 2.5%.

So, when several hundred armed American citizens gather to protect a rancher against the overbearing and law-breaking actions of a government agency which has repeatedly been slapped down by the courts for overstepping the bounds of their authority...

...yet no one fires a shot...

...that should be telling you something about their character, if not individually, then at least collectively.

Regardless, out of roughly 450 people who were present, we can expect between roughly 4 to 11 of them to visit some form of violent crime on others at some point in their lives.

    My response is science.

The mere fact you keep calling me "right-wing" when I am an unaffiliated political moderate, registered as "Independent," as I've shared with you many times before, speaks volumes about your feeble grasp on reality. But hey, if you want to keep looking stupid, go right ahead.

As I said before. The character and fraternity of your WHITE armed, right wingnut henchmen is recognized by another bunch of government paid WHITE right wing henchmen and "no one fires a shot". Yet unarmed demonstrators and reporters at Fergusen are harrased, attacked and tear gassed by a bunch of rioting right wing cops. Who but a right wing nut believes that if the demonstrators at Fergusen brought such arms no cop would fire first? They would have loved to fire on sight if anyone had shown a gun.

Bah on your lying ass mugs.

Your right wing sentiments are as obvious as john-gabriel's raghead antisemitic sentiments despite both of your denials.

Just as my sentiments toward truth and integrity and against henchmen are obvious.

Wasn't President Clinton in office in 1993?

    Hmm... Let see now.
If you allow me to stretch your time limit a few months, we could start with John F Kennedy.
Then, there's Martin Luther King, Jr.
    And there's Robert Kennedy.
There was an unsuccessful attempt on President Ronald Reagan (or doesn't that count?).
But, if you do allow attempts, then you might have to consider Governor George Wallace too.
And there are probably a few I missed.

You are correct in that it wasn't the 'Right' that won WWII. Nobody 'won'; the world as a whole lost, and lost a lot. But, it was Americans; Americans working together, fighting together, as one grand organization, that tipped the balance of power over to us; that enabled us, and the world, to declare victory over would-be tyrants.

'We' are on the Right side of History.

Most right wing ranchers in the area fell in line like good little republcans and complied. Liberals didn't buy that the republicans would expell so many of their voting base in Nevada just to protect a tortoise in an area which had already been subjected to the kind of environmental assault that area already had sustained from nucelar tests and polution from area 51. They bought the rummor that it was a conspiracy to expand the military bases.

One rancher, Bundy, opposed being displaced and refused to move. The government took him to court and for the past 20 years the case wended its way through the courts.

Bundy, taking advantage of popular leftist support...
Derp... what? Links of his "leftist support," please. Thanks.

"..decided that since the government was suing him he wouldn't pay his land use fees either. Building up a bill in the millions. All his legal resorts exhausted finaly law enforcement moved to evict Bundy and his cows.

That's when the right wing media got a hold of it and made it about Obama. Armed right wingnut...[/quote]

The difference between right and left wingnuts are the +/- pitch of the threads...

...militia responded and the military was sent in...
    Federales. Not military.

    ...to enforce court orders
Oooh! "Court orders!" As if they've withstood the Constitutional test of time... (rarely)

Instead of doing their job to protect the legal forces against possible armed resistance by looking for actual nut job armed resistors the right wing troops pointed guns at women, children and media so it would look bad knowing the right wing media was already blaming Obama for the whole thing would blame Obama for that too.
Yeah, you lost me, here. I'd didn't join the fray, but I had friends who did, and among them all, they sent me about a thousand pictures, none of which depict anything even remotely resembling your scenario.

The good news is that thanks to Google and some other uber-liberal media sites, the "plight" of those of us who revere the Constitution is captured forever for all the world to see in Google Images searches like "Bundy ranch standoff."

It's there you can see "the shot never heard around the world because contrary to grossly popular gross misconception, honest, law-abiding armed Americans aren't criminals."

Ahh yes the gross misconception supported by photos (that you deny seeing) of the authorities pointing guns at women and children instead of pointing them at the people photographed (that you also deny seeing) pointing guns at the authorities.

You didn't mention hard working and WHITE who point guns at cops. Oh, excuse me "federalies". They're not criminals because they didn't get shot like blacks and liberals do because the whole thing was right wing anti Obama theater.

By the way the right wing media is backing away from their position on that whole Bundy farm thing. Oreilly mentioned it just last night.
