    It makes sense. That's one of the few possible scenarios where enough matter could be gathered in a relativley small enough area and proximity to create gravitational field strong enough to form a black hole. Now the question is, "What happens to matter that enters it"? Destoyed (which is supposedly impossible), compressed (forever becoming a part of the black hole), or is the black hole the opening to something entirley un-imaginable to our current understanding of physics and the universe at large? Just my modest thoughts on the subject.

    But an argument against this theory would be: When galaxies collide, 99 point some-odd percent of the matter within the two galaxies would never actualy come into contact with other matter. So, according to some physicists, it would likely just form a larger galaxy from the two, and continue on in the life cycle comparable to any other galaxy. Just my modest thoughts on the subject.
