    There's a clear double standard in regards to this issue, and what should be legal or not.
    I thought I read somewhere recently that it wasn't the nicotine that makes tobacco so addicting but rather the tar. Have you heard or seen anything about this?

    I have heard that marijuana has more tar than tobacco. I can't tell you how accurate that is, but if it were true I would assume its the nicotine that's addictive. Nicotine is also used in pesticides!

    Also, caffeine and nicotine are immensely more addicting than tetrahydracannibinol; while alcohol and cigarettes kill more people a year than pancreotic cancer which has like a 85% mortality rate.

    In my opinion joints are less dangerous than jack daniels. Funny, since knowing all this doesn't stop me from smoking cigarettes anyway...
