    Default A rather silly question.

This has been on my mind and I have seen and heard it from some people, the whole thing is that all Matter, Stars , Planets Etc, are Illusions. They have given me this video to prove there point, Even I saw flaws in it, and that sais something. Excuse me if this has been posted but I don't think this holds much water.

anyhow, this is a quote they brought up.
"All matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration. We are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively. There is no such thing as death, life is a dream, and we're the imagination of ourselves."
    ~ Bill Hicks

and heres the Link to the video they showed me.

And isn't Bill Hicks the dead comedian whose funniest "joke" was that people suffering in drought-stricken regions should just move? That would be ironic.

    Extremely fast vibration.

They say that the Atom is held together bu Vibration and that you can change the structure of Matter by changing the frequency, Quantum Physics they say proves that Matter does not exist. They have an example where the Universe is a Hologram and you cant really cut up and examine a Hologram. They talk of Reality as if its Spatial when i thought its anything that reacted with both Space and Time not into any others where one could be ruled out. I guess Life or a Consciousnesses was here at the Big Bang. Not the best explainer but it comes down to Reality can be changed by the Observer through some type of "Thinking" i guess :/

Don't hate on Bill Hicks, grapes. Absolutely his humor is a tad graphic and vile, but he IS a comedian. If I were to take offense at inapprorpriate comedy Ild have to stop watching all television (so there wouldnt be that much a difference, I guess, lol).

I think the holographic nature of the universe is a valid theory but simultaneously I would very much enjoy to see a prediction that can be made and verified.

O no, I liked Bill Hicks. But since he died, showings of his work have always highlighted that single stupid joke, and it always seemed to get a big laugh when he was alive. Sure, why live where there is a drought, just move. Funny. Like telling someone, hey, your next door neighbor is battering you, just move. Hilarious--especially if the nearest non-batter is 500 miles away. That joke irritated me when he was alive, and I was reminded of it when the OP said "I don't think this holds much water."

    (BAD JOKE ALERT)

Or, "if you didnt want to get raped you should of asked him to stop". I use that one all the time.
