My logic was flawless. Surely 35,000ft would be perfect for some astrophotography. There would be no light pollution, no cloud. Perfect for getting that good shot. Somehow my logic failed me. Perching the camera on my thigh, pressing it up against the window and trying my best to block out the cabin light, proved less ideal than I would have hoped. Then there trying to compose the shot so the navigation light was kept out of the shot. Anyway, the constellation of Auriga was what could be seen out of my window. This was the best shot I could get. 35mm, f/5, 32sec, ISO 1600
