If you shine some light perpendicular to the gravitational field, and you also release a ball(from the same place); do both ball and light "fall" in the same way, if you ignore the curvature of the Earth, and its gravitational field; say for the first mile of the light's path?ETA: I mean; does the light drop at the same rate, and with the same apparent acceleration?
