If a swimming pool were filled with milk, would it be homogenous? What about starbucks foamed milk?

    Serious questions, seriously.
    What about curdled milk?

Back in post 5 MrMe gave us those images that science has assembled from the knowledge gained thus far... The mainstream view.

Some milk is homogenised which is homogeneous... but would cause a environmental issue if used to fill a swimming pool...

Neverfly's curdled milk shake would stink... Sponge like structure is good enough for my understanding...

At the time of the early expansion there was never a opportunity for gravity force to act upon the universe as its expansion was explosive.

Which is not suggesting it was a 'explosion', but for the being near it. Was one.

Solve the riddle of what is 'Dark Energy' and you win the Noble prize... WE do not know do we.. ?

Energy <aka light energy> = presence of light...you can see it; dark energy = absence of light...you can't see it... [rotflmao]...you can send my Nobel to ....

I would argue that it's homogeneous with respect to the fact that whatever clumping we do see forms no repetitive pattern. It appears to be random.

I think some think homogeneous means that everything would be equidistant from everything else. That would not only form a pattern, but statistically speaking it'd be ridiculously unlikely.

As for those whose curiosities fall along more fanciful lines, I suggest it's because they have more money than they know what to do with while not having had enough science and engineering to know what they're dealing with.

It appears as if not everyone agrees with you...probably starting with Einstein...see [1105.0815] Centrifugal cosmological repulsive force in a homogeneous universe <-- Link.
Another paper states in part: However, all the inhomogeneities in the density distribution, when averaged over hundreds mega-parsecs, are very small and can be seemed as the per-
turbations of the homogeneous background. This paper may be found at [1102.5395]Proliferation of the Phoenix Universe <--Link.

You are most welcome, Mr. McCarron...and, please, call me David (or Dave) as Mr. Eaton is my father....
