Default light's when viewed from the side .

What happened to all the light that was ever made from all the stares . Is the light from the first star traveling out through space freely or is it backing up like other stares light in a ocean of accumulated light. How is it effecting space & or time . With it's speed limit, will it take the path of least Resistance ,is it like pond water after it's reflected or like a water fall. Maybe light has eddy's next to rapids . Why is it invisible after it leaves the source and viewed from the side. Are we there yet !.

Light is invisible until it reaches us, and we see it.

Light from the stars travel out infinitely until it interacts with other particles. Light travels through expanding space so it can take a longer time to reach us than if it was travelling through flat space ( see ant and rope )

the CMBR for example is the first scattering right after the initial moments of the Big Bang.

Do we see light or do we just see what has reflected it. Turn a light on in a room , you may see the scource but not the travling light itself, just the floor the walls table and so forth. Its the reflected light of the object you see. Is it only reflected light and the light scorce that we can see . after light bounces off the object you can't see any more . it's a little like witch came first the chicken or egg thing .

We can only sense light with our eyes. We don't usually sense a table with our eyes.

Your eye senses a photon of light that hits it. Anything you see works like that. The photon could be emmitted from the source ( like a star ) or reflected by it ( like a table ).

You might enjoy this talk that I gave some years ago about the wave structure of matter. It includes some stuff on light also, in particular the idea that light is not really made of photons, quantization only exists at the moments of emission and absorption:
    http://cyclesresearchinstitute.org/c...SMN_WSM_RT.pdf

Your question is a little contradictory, as "look at" means receive light from, and "from the side" means don't receive light from. :-)

If you understand light as a wave phenomenon (see article with waves in the bucket) and seeing as waves causing matter changes, then there is nothing mysterious.
