As you mentioned the Free Will debate: If the Universe is truly deterministic and there is no "random" and no "free will," but we have the illusion of free will as we lack (and will probably always lack) any means of determining fate, what difference does it make?
Its like watching a movie but without remembering. It doesnt make any difference to you as you can't remember your past life, but you are gonna live it anyway. So if your life sucks, well thats too bad, because you are bound to have that same life over and over again.

How so? According to the the theory of your logic everybody will experience everything over and over, good, bad, indifferent...
Grapes has shown you that an infinite universe does not necessarily mean something will repeat, or return. For example there could be an infinite number of different "me's"

But your life must also be wonderful to live over and over.

Infinity infinities. Not will only everything that can happen, it will also happen infinite number of times.

Yes, I was (am!) that guy. But why does that make a difference? There is still no guarantee that anything has to repeat, no matter how many "infinities" there are.

    Repeat or combine?
The question being, if given infinite time and space and the possibility of infinite combinations, will an infinite number of combinations be made?

yes there is actually. There is no way that given infinite infinities some things doesn't repeat.

    Why? What would guarantee that?

There are an infinity of values between every two consecutive integers, but no two of them are equal
